​We created The Maine Hop Growers Association DB for the sake of running numbers on Maine Beer made with ME. Hops.  For a number of reasons, we wanted this done : 

1)  The big story wasn't getting told very well, and the same questions kept coming up :  How many Maine Farms were out there growing hops ?  and where the hell are they ?  
   
2)   Food Transparency :   Knowing where your food comes from.  Did any local Maine Hops make it into beer ?  From what farms, exactly ?   

3)  What kind of Beer is being made with Maine Hops ?  and if you made a chart with pretty colors, would it look like this?

​Anyway, these are really important questions which the database tries to answer.  Sometimes, you may find that the answers are still not there - as this is still a work in progress.  This beast is getting continually updated, so please check back every once in a while !
